A well equipped character cottage in the peaceful hamlet of Ardevon approximately 3km from Mont St Michel, ideally situated for exploring the Mont and surrounding areas. From the entrance of the cottage is a stunning view of the Mont, and at night it is even more impressive as it is illuminated, the area around the cottage although very rural is only 2 km away from a supermarket and a selection of restaurants and hotels.

Fabulous food can be found at the Auberge de la Baie just across the road serving great French Food with a very warm and friendly atmosphere.

Good beaches are all around the area, the best being along the coast line of Carolles (approximately 20 minutes by car), Jullouville & Granville which is a typical seaside resort, Avranches is also close by and is an impressive hilltop town.

Just 10 km away is the market town of Pontorson with a variety of shops and restaurants, there is also another supermarket and a local market on Tuesday’s.

The port of St. Malo is approximately 50km and is well worth a visit to the old town and the lovely beaches.

The abbey of Mont Saint Michel, otherwise known as: the Marvel; is famous worldwide. There are many things to see and to do; the main street with its shops, the museums, the walk around the ramparts with views out over the sands of the bay, as well as the spectacle of the sea rushing in to surround the Mont at each high tide.
